Let's just say I was nervous about this race because of the hills. I had no expectation to PR this race, i just wanted to finish. I loved that it was a small. I loved that it was through the residential areas of Fairview which was absolutely gorgeous. There were plenty of beautiful houses and lots of open land. With that being said, I really did not focus on the hills which were plentiful. The course was open, you did not feel like you were bobbing and weaving through a crowd. There were plenty of small pace groups available who made running with them a blast. I loved the guy with the portable speaker serenading fellow runners with song. The end of the race included one of the biggest medals (I've received), a Nothing bundt Cake Buntini, lots of post-run snacks, and I happened to snag a mimosa from one of the vendors. Winning. Since the race was in Fairview, It is next to the shops of fairview which boasts several great restaurants and shopping. Great race shirt and bag with samples at packet pickup. Loved this race!
