Probably one of the best half marathons I've ever run. The NYC Half Marathon is a perfect warm up to the NYC Marathon. You get to run through Central Park, Times Square, the West Side Highway, by the Freedom Tower, and then finish in the Financial District. The weather was brutally cold the morning we took off. WEAR LAYERS! Once you get going it wasn't that bad. The NYRR really puts on an incredible race. The only hills are in Central Park otherwise the course is flat, flat, flat. Lots of spectators given the temperature. A perfect race.
