"Each of every day we encounter superheroes… in our classrooms, at our playgrounds, and on our ball fields. We meet parents who confront challenges, see teachers and coaches who encourage children to scale barriers. Most importantly, we witness children break through presumed limitations inspiring us to continue doing the work that we do.

The Superhero Dash is to celebrate them, because regardless of the challenges you face, and what you can or cannot do, you are a superhero!

Grab your superhero cape and join us to support Unlimited Play whose mission is to enrich the lives of children, families and our community."

The above is from their race website and completely encompasses their goal and what they are wanting to achieve by this awesome yearly race. This is, by far, one of my favorite local 5K's. The atmosphere is amazing filled with awesome kids and awesome super heroes! You don't want to miss this amazing time at a great price!

I have ran the MO'Cowbell two years now and have loved every minute of it both times! In 2013, it was my first ever time running in a half-marathon and I was loving the flatness of the course. Of course, the one hill near the end makes you feel the burn just a little bit. In 2014, I was able to enjoy the actual course more since I had ran it the year before and I wasn't so nervous.

The aid stations were always filled with smiling people ready to quench your thirst. The ringing cowbells and awesome signs along the way make for great scenery. However, the scenery of the Katy Trail and New Town are the real highlights! And you can not fall in love with the atmosphere of the High Five Area...it is AMAZING!!!

Overall, this is an awesome race with a small-town feel! You don't want to miss it!! Put it on your race calender now :)

This is by far one of my favorite races! I chose this race because it fell on my Birthday Weekend and what better way to spend it than running in a race that is all HOTPINK, TUTUS, TIARAS & and Hunky men at the finish line!!! Hello!!!! It's also down on Branson Landing so totally make weekend of it and have some fun! Tons of shopping and shows for during your down time!

The Expo was in general not that great....not a lot of vendors but it was the first year at this location so hopefully it gets better.

The actual race was GORGEOUS!! The hills are no joke so be sure to train on some fierce ones prior to running this course. But they are worth it for the spectacular views you will see! There is this one hill that is just..ahhhh...gorgeous!!! The best part is that the last half mile is pretty flat so you can push your hardest to finish great!

Loved the fact that they give you your tiara and boa a little before the finish line so you don't have to wear them the whole time :)
The snacks after the race where pretty great...lots of fruit...lots of chocolate milk...lots of goodies in general!

And when you finish...don't forget to snap a pic with the hunky guys before you leave the roped off area...they won't let you back in :)

Also...one final thing...the medals??? AMAZING!!! This one was huge and glittery pink with a spinning pink jewel in the center....Enough said!!
