2014 was my second time running the Crim 10 Mile race. My childhood was spent walking to the end of my block on race Saturday watching the competitors run by while I put little thought into what it took to prepare, train, and complete this amazing race.

Now to the race itself - the Crim takes you through Flint's downtown where you run on the bricks and through several of its most beautiful and historic neighborhoods. The people of the city are out in force supporting the locals that run along with the numerous out of towners participating.

I did not rate two items of the race (Expo quality and Parking/Access) because I got into town too late the previous day to attend the expo and my parents live close enough to the start line that I can walk.
