One of my favorite marathons. Super fast flat course with a ton of scenery and lots of cheering a long the way. Must do race for a first time marathoner.

This is a must do. If you enjoy trails you will want to explore this race. There is also an option to do a little camping since the race is right near one. The course has several hills with mild elevation gain and plenty of space to run next to a friend. Aid stations are well stocked and tons a food and drinks to re hydrate you.

When I read about this course, I just had to sign up. For those of you who love a challenge this is a must do. The elevation gain is significant so you will want to prepare for it by running hills and doing stair climbing. Once you get to the top of the hill the views are spectacular. Break off to take a few pictures and head on back to the trail to keep on running. Fully stocked hydration tables with salt, pretzels and chips,etc..... Be sure to bring a few hydration bottles or a hydration pack. You will truly enjoy this one.
