If you run the 10k, do not expect the Flying Pig experience that everyone talks about. The Saturday events (10k and 5k) are no different than your local, small town 5k. Very limited crowd support, a few snacks at the finish, and no after-race festivities at all. The shirt for the Flying Pig was of poor quality, at best. Very faded image and really silly looking, if you can even see it. The medal is about the size of a half dollar. I also wasn't impressed with the Expo - heard all these great things, but it wasn't any better (and maybe not as good) than any other big city Expo. For the 10k, it's one and done for me.

Overall great. Issues that need worked out: not spectator friendly at start/finish; corral access a royal pain (esp. If you're in A); cluttered gear check area; has to be non-smoking (yes, you read correctly); finish area wasn't real smooth. Good/great things: The course is very enjoyable. Great community/spectator support. Plenty of water and other fluids. Medal is awesome. Expo is huge. Staff was all friendly. Loved running through OSU stadium.
