Gorgeous location - at the top of a mountain running through a State Park on mainly gravel roads. Very challenging. Not one bit of flat. It was all either up or down. Awesome run!

But a few big drawbacks to this one. First... only one pottie on the entire course and nothing except water. No Gatorade. No food or energy gels.

The other major issue was the bussing situation. I'm okay with getting bussed to and from the start line, but we had to wait almost one and a half hours AFTER the race to get a bus back to the parking lot - a 1/2 hour drive away so not walking distance. There was lots of parking... it was just getting back to the car that was the problem.

Good thing they had a clothing drop. At the top of the mountain, even in July, sweats were needed post-race - especially while waiting for a bus!

Nice shirts and nice medals. Really nice people.
