The IMT Des Moines Marathon breaks into The BibRave 100 for the first time in 2019, and it’s easy to see why. Runners really appreciated how well-supported this race is, by both race organizers and the local community. They also raved about the on-course treats, including volunteers on bikes handing out everything from gummy bears to brownies and an entire aid station devoted to bacon! Bacon!!!

This delightful race offers an extra thrill for track fans who can geek out as they run a lap at the famed blue oval track of Drake Stadium, home of the Drake Relays. Finally, runners love the superior swag that Des Moines offers, including full-zip jackets and snazzy medals, so it was no surprise to see them snag a Top 10 spot on our Medals and Swag list.
