For the second year in a row, the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, lovingly referred to as the “Indy Mini,” has earned the top spot on The BibRave 100! Loyalists to the Indy Mini flooded both the nominations and voting periods with an outpouring of support.

“It highlights what makes Indianapolis great, and this race screams ‘Hoosier Hospitality.’”

A clear highlight for most is the lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, allowing participants to cross and kiss the famous Yard of Bricks. That theme is carried throughout the race, from the IndyCar that leads each wave, to a Victory Mile lined with checkered flags and cheering spectators.

In addition to the race weekend bells and whistles, many runners also praised the race’s training program, which includes a series of races that coincide with training mileage in the lead up to race day. Event organizers stay connected to the community throughout the year to prepare everyone for the ultimate race weekend. All of that prep and anticipation certainly help explain why the Indy Mini also earned a Top 10 spot in our Experience category.
