Starting in 1979 with only about 900 participants, the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic is now one of the largest and oldest 10Ks in the US. With 20,000 runners the event has become what one voter calls “A HUGE party from start to finish!”

“The Classic” is a Saturday race that takes place on Easter weekend and has become one of the main events in New Orleans - a city where the word “party” isn’t casually thrown around!
