Jesica 's thoughts:

The ZOOMA Florida Half Marathon is hands down my favorite half marathon to date. The ZOOMA team knows how to put on a great race. From the host hotel, to the race day transportation and seamless logistics, everything was easy and well done. I received probably the best swag I have every received from a race, and the course was incredibly beautiful. This is a mostly flat and fast course, great for a PR. Beware of the last 0.1-0.2 stretch which is run in the soft sand. It is really challenging, but you can see the finish line the entire time and you know you are almost there. This is also still a very small race (about 500 people). There was also little to no spectator support on the course, but the scenery was so amazing I hardly noticed or needed it. Two thumbs up from me! You can see my full race recap here: http://www.runladylike.com/2014/01/20/zooma-florida-race-recap/
