Adam Fleisher's thoughts:

If you like running half marathons with a small town feel this is a race for you. Part of the race is on roads and part of the race is on a none technical trail. The roads are well kept and in some industrial area. The trails are scenic. Some roots (which I have the uncanny nack of tripping on at least one per race) and rocks.
Winter weather in the Northeast means be prepared for anything. The year I ran this race it rained. The trail became mud. (I am a challenged athlete so mud is no friend of mine.). This made the up hills difficult for me.
Like the other 3C races the aid stations manned with volunteers from the charity, friendly, and supportive. They were well stocked.
The food at the end of the race was typical 3C post race goodies. I am happy with a banana, pretzels, peanut butter, and a bagel.
There is plenty of parking. You get a tech shirt and finisher's medal. If you place in your division you win a pint glass with the race logo on it.
If you are looking for a half marathon during November I recommend this one.
