This race is SO well organized and run. Philadelphia Runner does an absolutely amazing job!

The packet pick-up and expo is a breeze; Held at a local brewery, it's a nice way to kick off the event. Plenty of parking in the area as well as a photo op station and a booth for items for purchase from PR.

The t-shirt that was given out this year was a gray cotton short-sleeve with the PR 10k crest in yellow/black. The cotton is actually quite soft and cozy and a nice alternative to the tech shirts.

Parking can be a bit tricky by the start since it's all residential, but if you know the area you can probably find something with no problem. I'd still suggest taking a Lyft or public transit to the start line instead of risking it.

The race goes through scenic Philly and features so much camaraderie. Plenty of water stations (since it's August) and the ice cold wash cloth handed out at the finish is my absolute favorite.

Instead of medals, PR offers differ post-race swag. This year it was a geometric poster design featuring the sights and runners. I like that it was something different, but it was a little cumbersome to carry after running.

The after party is great but can be a bit hectic - lines are long, very crowded - but honestly, it's a celebration and that's exactly how it plays out. I highly recommend attending even just for a few minutes before leaving.

I highly, highly recommend this run for all levels of runners! The City of Brotherly Love never disappoints, and neither does Philadelphia Runner with this awesome production!
