This Color Run was my second, the first being last year. The weather this year was great - it was sunny, not very windy, and there wasn't too much humidity. So I suppose this is where I start the nit-picking.

The course - The course itself left a lot to be desired. It was pretty awesome being out on the 4-wide drag strip, but the entire race was literally just down and back, over and over. I believe it was 3 trips up the track and 3 trips back. The track itself, from start to finish of the physical track is just about 0.75mi - that made the race roughly 4.5 miles. Add in the distance to get to the track and to the actual finish, and the race was closer to 5 miles than 3.1.

The color - The color this year was very vibrant, but inconsistent. It started out in a super concentrated liquid and then the rest of the colors were the same cornstarch powders as the year prior.

The finish - Getting a finisher's medal was awesome, especially seeing as how it was my 9yr old daughter's first ever 5K, but I think there should have been people actually putting the medals on people instead of just handing them to the runners.

The overall event was awesome and I'll definitely be doing it again next year.
