This is not a one day race. It is a two day event with a half marathon on Saturday and a marathon on Sunday. And I recommend you do both days to fully get the experience! It is a looped trail, mostly run on crushed granite. Unless it rains then it's part mud but it's a trail run so that is ok. Finish line food is great, medals are even better. Do both days and go home with not just two medals but THREE!!
