This national chain of races was disappointing when it came to the expo. There were at best three booths in attendance the year I ran. The swag would be alright if it wasn't a Santa tech shirt. When else can I wear it besides around the Holidays without looking odd? You also receive a Santa hat and beard for the race, although the year I ran it was freakishly warm (high 50s) and beards and hats littered the race course as runners got too hot.
The course itself was alright but nothing special and the candy at some of the aid stations ended up creating a sticky mess all over the road as runners just dumped it on the pavement. This is a great fun run, but definitely not one I'd do again as a half.
