Run 's thoughts:

The Rock and Roll races are generally well-organized and well-run races. I really like the course (hello Blue Mile!), crowd support and general atmosphere of the Seattle half.

The one absolutely horrible thing this year was parking. I pre-purchased my parking for the Century Link field and due to non-existent traffic control, did not get into the garage until 6:45 - when the race was due to start at 7! The organizers did realize there was a parking/access problem, and pushed the start of the race back until 7:15. I'm hopeful they will get this resolved for next year.

There is crowd support throughout the race, and the Blue Mile from mile 9-10 was inspiring, humbling and amazing to see. I made sure to thank all of the flag holders as I ran through, as well as the volunteers at aid stations throughout the course.

The expo was large, and while it's annoying to have to pay for parking, I understand the need to do it at a large convention center in the city, due to the sheer number of people running the race (20k, at least).

Good shirt and medal, and the finish line festivities were as advertised. We left early, but the race organizers have no control over the weather!
