This was my first experience running a Rock N Roll Race and my first time visiting Nashville! This was an awesome race experience from start to finish, and I'm glad I checked this race off my running bucket list. The expo was huge, yet very organized...lots of vendors and photo-ops. It was a bit crazy in Nashville with the NFL draft, but this made for excellent crowd support on race day. The parking situation was not bad at all; we had to walk about a mile to the start line from where we parked, but it was super close to the finish line, which was great. This is a VERY hilly course; we were constantly climbing and descending, which was tough but also made the race a lot of fun. It was awesome running past many of the "highlights" of Nashvillle. The crowd support was excellent -- live music, awesome fans, NFL team stages, hilarious signs -- there was so much to see and hear that I left my ipod shuffle at home.. The medal was a guitar, which was pretty sweet, but a bit smaller than I was expecting. I would definitely add this race to your bucket list...it was a 13.1 mile party and I cannot recommend it enough!
