I have run this race every year since it started. It is loads of fun. There are long uphills, but no steep hills. It's basically pretty flat and fast. It's a run through old downtown Ft. Worth with bread factories and old buildings. The after party includes breakfast and Rahr's beer. What could be better? There are social runs for several months on the first Saturday of the month before the race. This makes a core of close runners for the race. There are pacers if you want them. The only negative is that there is only street parking near the brewery, so get there early to find parking. There's no expo, so no extra cost for that. Tech shirts are Octoberfest themed. The "medal" is a finisher's beer glass with the event on the glass. Bring your ID and have a blast.
