Emily 's thoughts:

Overall the race was enjoyable, most of that was due to the team members though. There were issues with the course itself. We ran from Fredericksburg to Austin.

First, we had to skip a city or 2 on the course, so had to do a virtual exchange since we couldn't run through.
Second, the route through Austin was not through the best neighborhood, and along a main street. While inside the city of Austin, a reflective vest needed to be worn at all times, which wasn't bad, just annoying.
What I think would have been the most pretty part of the trail, along the river, was in the middle of the night so we couldn't enjoy the view.
Although team told me a city near the beginning of the race got tired of having the runners and vans causing the traffic and told them they needed to stop and pick up outside the city limits.

Overall, It was a Ragnar and very well run. Other than the actual route I had no issues with it.
I did hear that next year they were going to change the route so maybe it would be better.
