I know some people really like this race, I just am not one of them. I found it to be dull, and considering it's such a beautiful place, it's not very scenic. There is a hilly part in the woods around the halfway point, which was a nice, and surprising, change of scenery, but otherwise it's kind of around neighborhoods and down a long stretch of highway to the never ending bridge and finally into the home stretch and finish in Manteo. I'd call it a mediocre event, which if you're nearby, is a decent race to run. Otherwise, I think there are other, better, options out there for North Carolina.
