Michelle Ladonne's thoughts:

This race was run on probably the hottest day in July, which made it kind of rough for me... I was slightly frustrated that the race started about 20 minutes late due to course delays, which made it even hotter by the end. The course was beautiful, running through Stonehill College, along the Sheep Pasture trails, past the Ames Park and along a pond in a residential area of Easton. The finish was pretty brutal, having to circle around Stonehill, which made the finish line seem even further away, especially after the final sprint uphill to get to the actual finish line. Ugh! Also because of the heat, water at the finish line was warm, which was disappointing. A beautiful course, but not sure I would choose a half marathon in the dead heat of summer again.
