Kelli 's thoughts:

This year they had two options a 6K or a 10K ultra we had originally opted for the 10K occurring on the Friday night but due to low numbers we had to switch to the Saturday event. We then switched back to the 6K so we could race during the early hours instead of late that afternoon. With over 9000 participants (3300+ female) it is a very well organized event. Lots of parking ($10.00) and this year they had more volunteers directing traffic to help with flow and congestion. Same great vendor village layout, and some new obstacles to keep racers entertained. Nice dark grey tee shirt and they change the medal slightly each year with some added colour and flair. Long line ups for the showers this year and people were not understanding the shower etiquette to quickly hose off and go. Headbands instead of bibs which are great so you can find your photos quick online and not worry about a dirty bib or fear losing it in the mud. Sportstats.ca was really quick to get results posted for those wanting to see if they made it into the OCRWC being held at Blue Mountain, Barrie, Ontario, Canada in October. Fun location at the paintball field and a family friendly event. Lots of restaurants on the way home to choose from and a well-situated venue located between Kingston, Ottawa and Montreal. Highly recommended for FUN!
