I ran this race last year and I just applied to run it again. This is a women only run, unless your child wants to run as your teammate. This year my son is going to be my teammate, so I am very excited for this run. It starts in Central Park and ends back in the park. The only issue I had was that there was a wooden section of the course and it wasn't well marked at all. I complained about it last year and they stated in this years information that it will be better marked. At the finish every mother got a rose and they said they had mimosa's but we left before that. Shirts were nice tech wick. There was a kids race after the 5k, which kids got a nice finishers medal for.
