Enjoy the best of Big Sky Country at the 15th Annual Missoula Marathon on Sunday, June 30th, 2024. Ranked the #1 Marathon In The US by The BibRave 100 in 2017 and 2018. Also named a Top 10 Bucket List Marathon for 2018 and 2019 by Runner's World. We also have a great Half Marathon - ranked as a Top 20 race in 2018 by The BibRave 100. We have a full weekend of fun, including the Friday night Beer Run (Free); Saturday's 5K, Kids Marathon & Fitness Expo; and, Sunday's Full & Half Marathons. The Missoula community loves to roll out the red carpet; and, we have a downtown filled with fun and excitement. Come to run and stick around for the fishing, hiking, water sports, wildlife viewing, brewery tours, western history, sunny days, and starry nights. Don't miss out - register today and start planning your Treasure State adventure.

Venessa R's thoughts:

I recommend this race to anyone that starts talking about races. Through BibRave I learned about this race and planned to run the full marathon. However I ended up being 22 weeks pregnant, and ended up officially dropping to the half. My husband ran the full. The race is point to point and you must be bussed to the starting line, but pick up was highly organized and there were plenty of busses for all the runners. There were TONS of portable toilets at the start line, plus coffee and water, which I appreciated. The race itself is pretty scenic because Montana is beautiful. The race ends in Missoula which is a lovely city with a very European vibe. At the end you are greeted with a literal buffet of food to munch on while you relax in the finisher area.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed the full marathon and managed a PB on the course. I can see us running it again in the future.
