I've run the Madison Mini 5K for a few years and I love this race! Both the Half Marathon and the 5K are well organized, run on scenic courses that begin and end at the University of Wisconsin's campus, and there's a big post race party. This is a High Energy race experience with tons of excitement, crowd support, and water cheering stations throughout the half marathon course. There's even a fun kids' race for the kids under age 10 and Bucky Badger is there. It all ends with a big post race party at the Union on Lake Mendota with a live band, beer, and food to celebrate with your friends and family in August! I highly recommend it to anyone that has never run it before and it's a great reason to travel to Madison in the summer.
