Matthew Crooker's thoughts:

This was my first time running the Triple Crown 15k race in Louisville, Kentucky! I was not sure what to expect, so I went into the race with an open mind. The race course was FAST!!!!! There was only a slight hill right by the end of the first mile, and after that it was flat! The scenery of the course was awesome! You get to run by landmarks in Louisville that grab your attention such as the Muhammad Ali Center and Louisville Slugger Field. Something I should mention is the course offers the opportunity to cheer on fellow runners since you get to run on one side of the road, and runners who have already done the turnaround get to run past everyone else. I got to pass by fellow BibRave Pros Sherry and Steph and we all got a momentum boost this way! After crossing the finish line, you get to a wide array of refreshments which help in replenishing nutrients you lost during the run. The hydration stations only had water available, and I wish there was an electrolyte option. The swag from the event was great! The pullover quarter zip you receive is a fantastic amenity to receive for participating in the event. The medals were nice and simple. One of the nicest features was the free photos you receive for participating in the event! They are great quality and professionally done!
