This is the 2nd year for this race & I have been fortunate (& close enough) to be able to participate both times. The race route starts at the YMCA on the square in Washington & runners go out 6.5 miles on the Kewash Trail, then turn around & return to cross the finish line on the square. The Kewash Trail is flat, shaded, & fast! I got confused around the finish line as directions to it were not clearly marked (& volunteers were sparse). Plenty of refreshments at the end of the race. Free showers to all participants at the YMCA. $50.00 entry fee ($60.00 same day) might be a little steep compared to other other, similar races.
