Race: IMT Kentucky Derby Half Marathon 2009 (Louisville, KY)
Race Type / Terrain (road, trail): paved roads around Louisville, also run through Churchill Downs park
Organization (Size, Expo, volunteers, start / finish): . Fine expo and organization
Support (fans, music on course): pretty good support. This is start of a week leading up to Kentucky Derby
Course Scenery: Very fun running through Churchill Downs, and seeing hot air balloons during race
Course Difficulty: a little hilly, not too challenging.
Weather / Temperature: very warm and humid
Course location recreation (sights, things to do): Lots of things to do: Churchill Downs / Kentucky Derby, Louisville Slugger factory, Muhamad Ali hometown, etc
Logistics (Getting to the race site): easy from Louisville airport
Swag (medal, t-shirt, other items for finishers): Nice horse-themed medal and nice t-shirt
Food and drink (on course and after finish): Sufficient food and drink during and after race
