This one my first official 15K run and I had not run this distance before. So I was a bit intimidated but excited. The bib packet pick up was a breeze, although Philadelphia Runner was also having a bib pick up for another race. So that was confusing for about a minute. There, I got the tech hoodie (which is nice but ran a bit small) and the bag with some chocolate goodies.

The day of the race was pretty easy. Though I say this as a Philadelphian. We had no issues with getting to the start line. I came with a group so we were all together at the N corral. The route is one that I'm familiar with and the view is nice. You get to run along the river and take in the scenery. The mile markers were very visible and a good amount of water stations. They even had a chocolate station but not sure I would actually eat that during the race.

While the route is pretty flat, there is an incline coming near the finish line. It's right before you see the underpass.

After you finish, the lines went quickly to pick up your hot chocolate / fondue cup. Unfortunately they are cheapy plastic. The design is nice though and the hot chocolate was delicious after the run.

I missed out but they are giving out medal for the runs starting the latter part of 2014. Chocolate bar shaped medals!
