I was super excited to be able to run the one and only Grandma's Marathon Half. Due to work schedule I had to participate virtually. I really want to do the in person but the virtual is a great option. I decided to run the Great Grandma Challenge because why not, it's only an extra 5K. I was happy to see that they held a virtual expo as well because I think it is important that the virtual runners get the same or similar experience as the in person. In most case the virtual cost is similar to the in person one or the exact same. I would like liked to received my swag before the virtual race opened so that I could have had my swag at my finish since I completed the race the first weekend the virtual race opened. I will wait patiently until I get it but excited to be getting all the swag for participating in the challenge.
