I have created a running website named www.askrunguy.com based on having run over 100 half marathons, including all fifty US states and several other countries; and several full marathons, with a goal of running all six World Major marathons. Below is a template for comments for my rating each race:
Race: Get Lucky half marathon 2016 Minneapolis, MN
Race Type / Terrain (road, trail): paved roads around Minneapolis
Organization (Expo, volunteers, start / finish): Good expo and on course volunteers
Support (fans, music on course): A few people on parts of the course. Much is difficult to access
Course Scenery: Not great scenery. Just highways in downtown Minneapolis
Course Difficulty: Fairly challenging with many rolling hills
Weather / Temperature: Can vary widely from quite cold to very warm
Course location recreation (sights, things to do): Lots of nice things to see and do around Minneapolis
Logistics (Getting to the race site): airports or drive to Minneapolis
Swag (medal, t-shirt, other items for finishers): Very nice medals and sweatshirts for finishers (a bit expensive via the race entry fee)
Food and drink (on course and after finish): Very limited food and drink after the race
I provide running and racing resources for all levels of runners at www.askrunguy.com. I also share information that I believe is interesting and helpful to the running community. I encourage you to visit www.askrunguy.com
