Danielle Fogerty's thoughts:

So, I ran this today, currently in pain in my hotel room, but I figure this makes me the most honest.

First off, the parking for everything is great, tons of it, and very easy to get to. My BF and I traveled to this race and stayed in Erlanger, KY, took 15 minutes to get to everything. The expo is nice, lots of stuff, but not overly packed, you actually have room to get around. And the swag, OMG so great, you get a shirt, poster and a nice back pack.

Morning of race, race does start early 6:30am so be prepared for that, but plenty of parking near the start. The corrals are nicely set up and let me tell you, so..many...portapotties, I don't think there were any long lines at all, which is really the best. I was able to find my pacers easily and they were super nice, though I didn't end up staying with them. And the corrals take off in decent time, not much waiting around after 6:30.

The race itself, SO MANY HILLS!!! It is a beautiful course and you get some amazing scenery to look at, and the neighborhoods you run through are FULL of people cheering you on. There is music almost everywhere, but yeah, the hills crushed me. I went out too fast for the major hills in the park and that cost me in the end.

The aid stations are every mile, and they are well set up gatorade is first water is second, so you know and they give out all sorts of food along the course and at mile 23 they hand out wet towels, which was so nice.

The start and finish line are not too far apart so if you have a cheering section they should be able to find you no problem. You get a super nice medal, heavy too, and plenty of food and drinks, also the after party is really nice with booths and food trucks and more music.

The only complaint, is from my BF, when he was trying to find where to stand to watch the start, no one was really able to help him, and that is a tad annoying, but overall, that is really the only issue, he was able to find me again at mile 5 and he saw me at the finish.

I would recommend this race, just be prepared for a tough but gorgeous course, and even though it was hard, I did set a new PR so, overall, pretty great day
