I chose the 4 miler instead of the Tarheel 10 miler for 2016 due to injury. I loved everything about the 2015 10 miler so I decided to run the shorter distance anyway.

Expo:
Definitely noticed more people than the previous year and it was tons of fun with raffles and giveaways.

Race:
Parking was a breeze. The start line was a little crowded up front with runners that didn't quite know to line up by time but no biggie for me. One thing to note is that the BIG hill got taken out of the 4 mile course - I'm not sure whether or not to be happy about this. Part of me wanted the challenge but my body definitely thanked me for not pushing it up Laurel Hill. The finish was a little different - no more stadium finish so that was a little anti-climatic. I also had to wait around for about 45 minutes after I finished to find out my time and see if I placed - room for improvement there.
