The Draft Day 5k was a very well-organized race. I was not excited about driving 40 miles from my house to pick up my packet, only to return on Saturday for the race, but I am so glad I did because of the Draft Day celebration. The race didn't have a traditional expo, but the Draft Day activities were an excellent swap and just what I needed at the end of a long day. (Maybe it was the Miller Light)

The racecourse was flat with a few hills and turns. I was excited to see the families with strollers, the bigger kids that ran the race. The swag shirt was soft and stylish, exceptionally if you are a Cowboy Fan, and I am.

I don't know how this race has not been on my schedule in previous years, but not it is.
