I did the race with my father, who did the international HM, we both had a great time. Kudos to the photographers for capturing many wonderful race photos—you know the kind of “constipated race photos” you usually get at other races.

My only complaint was about parking. We got downtown at 5:50, and it took us 55 minutes to get into the parking structure two blocks away. Congestion out side the downtown parking garages was terrible and we missed our starting wave and had to join the slower waves. It will be great if in the future, the organizers could send someone directing traffic outside the parking garages.
