This was my second half-marathon and first visit to Detroit. The course was surprisingly fast - I was able to set a 5 minute PR. Going over the Ambassador Bridge and returning through the tunnel was a pretty fun experience. I think 2 people died in the 1/2 marathon in 2009 - which is crazy because it wasn't even warm (I wore capris & a long sleeve). Hope to return someday for the full-marathon.
