Incredible race director. Even better price $14. No thrills racing. No shirt (this year you could purchase a shirt) no swag. If you can not afford the race the RD will accept any payment and let you run.
Be careful. Very hilly and in February you could be running on raid, dirt, trail or snow and ice.
Aid stations are strategically placed. Gatorade and water at each. People are all over the course cheering you on.
Be careful once you hit mile 12. It's all up hill from here.
The items that make this race a repeater is you will find the race director all over the course yelling and cheering you on while giving high fives. After you finish there is an unbelievable buffet of prepared foods. Oh did I mention you run on roads, dirt, and trails. You will pass farms, cows, and other animals (I ran with a turkey in 2018).
