Ken Childs's thoughts:
The Bull City Race Fest had everything I want in a race: A great course, friendly people, food trucks at the end of it, and cool weather. It's absolutely fantastic.
The course winds its way through Durham, around part of Duke University, and finishes by the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The local crowd is really great, with people lining the uphill climb past the ballpark to the finish.
While the course has rolling hills, there's no really major climbs that make it feel unfair, until 2018 it was my fastest half marathon, so the course is plenty quick.
It's hard to think of a better way to see the city of Durham then to travel 13 miles around by foot!
