Tim 's thoughts:

Broad Street in Philly is known locally for great events - The Mummers Parade on New Years Day and the Broad Street Run. I've done them both! The Mummers Parade might be the harder of the 2 given that this New Years Day it was like 7 degrees. What happens when you try to play your saxophone in temperatures so low...nothing, That's what happens. On the other hand the Broad Street run is in early May when the temperatures this year were perfect.
The expo was just ok this year but there were still some good swag! The run itself has almost 40,000 people. It's just a great day. There is music all down the street with people cheering from start to finish. My only complaint is that there is no wifi or phone reception at the end of the race. I could find my friends at the end of the race and you want to celebrate with them so getting in contact with them is really important. I hope they fix that.
