Back on My Feet is an organization that uses running as a tool to help the homeless community become more independent and connect them with a community. It's an amazing, worthy cause worth celebrating and I was happy to participate in the race!

I picked up my race packet at the Philadelphia Runner in Center City. Parking is extremely limited, so I would recommend taking a Lyft or public transit, otherwise you will likely have to park in a garage. I did receive a usable shopping bag but opted out of the t-shirt for a lower entry fee.

There is limited parking near the race start, and staff members at Phila Runner are more than happy to offer suggestions. The race start was crowded but well organized with plenty of bathrooms available. The scenic course takes you down MLK Drive starting and finishing near the Philadelphia Art Museum. The location is perfect for a 5-miler. Overall, it's very well organized and well run. I would highly recommend this race!
