This race had been on my "bucket list" for a few years because Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday and the theme was right up my alley! Since I just moved here I finally got the chance to do it in person and WOW what an amazing race!

First off, the race management team really knows how to put on a great race. The course entertainment and race organization was amazing and top notch, from the zombie family on course and the Michael Jackson band performing Thriller at mile 3. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and they had plenty of aid stations serving water and electrolytes on course for us.

The course itself was really pretty running along the boardwalk for about half the race, plus the finish was right on the boardwalk and the beach party made for some super fun photos at the finish line! I had such a blast! Everyone was cheering us on and calling us by our costume name.

And the COSTUMES! Omg people totally take Halloween really seriously for this race, there were so many people in costume and some of the costumes were extremely creative! I loved it! The vibe was definitely awesome and this is a race I will be doing over and over again each year! Great job!!!
