Adam Fleisher's thoughts:

Achilles International CT Chapter Hope and Possibly races are an empowering and motivating experiences. Achilles International helps disabled athletes compete in mainstream sports. Our athletes range from visually impaired, wheelchair, prostectics, to TBI, and mobility impaired. We have guides out helping our athletes. It is an amazing experience.
The 5k course has minimal elevation. There is one aid station (about half way point). There are no port-a-potties on the course. The roads are open to traffic, but there are police and volunteers all over the course.
You start the race next to a charter school. The loop ends near the gym.
The 10k is a double loop.
There is food, vendors, giveaways, and awards after the race. There is a PT company that does pre and post race stretching. Everyone receives a shirt and a finishers medal.
There is ample parking, lots of bathrooms, and the gym stays open to keep you cool.
Because this event takes place during the summer it could be extremely hot and humid (97 degrees in 2019) or it could rain. Be prepared.
