The AJC Peachtree Road Race is the largest 10K in the US and – as it’s held on the Fourth of July – it’s regularly touted as the best Independence Day “parade” around! First arriving on the Atlanta scene on July 4, 1970, this race serves everyone from top elites to first-timers. Runners love racing in costume or just mixing in with the bustling crowds.
“An awesome LARGE race that becomes a giant street party!”
With an annual T-shirt design contest, post-race Coca-Cola, and the always challenging “Cardiac Hill,” this race serves up a slice of patriotism pie with a side of true Georgian spirit!
