The Flying Pig Marathon climbed to the top of The BibRave 100 list in 2019 and held onto that lead to be named the #1 Marathon in America for the decade! According to runners, this race truly embraces their adorable piggy theme and race organizers bring it to life in every way possible! From starting corral “pig pens” to the finish line “finish swine,” the piggy theme gets all the runners in a curly-tailed frenzy!

“The Pig weekend is nonstop fun and entertainment”

Runners were so hog-wild about this theme that the Flying Pig Marathon also earned a spot in the Top 5 list of Best Themed Races. Finally, the Flying Pig earned our Green Lion Award thanks to their “Greening the Pig” efforts to recycle, compost, and redistribute discarded clothing and leftover food to those in need. With all that good stuff in one race, we can see why so many little piggies head to Cincinnati!
