This race became a favorite the first year I did it back in 2015. Mom and I have done 3 hot chocolate races since. This year was equally awesome as expected! Made it to the expo on Saturday and was able to navigate it easily. The volunteers guided us to where we needed to go and the vendors were informative and friendly. The swag bag is one of the best parts. I never wear my race shirt on race day, but this year it was chilly and I broke the rules and sported my cozy cute zip up! (See pic). Parking on race day was pretty seamless, but I do recommend getting there at least an hour early to find a spot. The race started on time and the start corrals were easy to navigate. The course is pretty challenging for a 5k, but the views and the chocolate aid station make it worth it. We had to walk a little far to get to our hot chocolate afterwards, but again. No biggie. Totally worth it! The mug was full of sweet goodies! I’ll see you next year Horn Chocolate SF!
