An ~27 mile relay that can be done in teams of 3 or 6 runners. Most of the race takes place within the scenic Rock Creek Park north of Rockville, Md. Running 2x with just a short rest is tough! Each leg is approx 4.5-5 miles. We were in the last start wave for the race and as such did not see too many other runners on the route. Parking was plentiful and driving directions between transitions were spot on. Plenty of food at the finish. No aid stations mid race. On the downside, the race volunteers starting taking down signs and leaving their transition posts before we were finished running through them. We found this to be a little demoralizing. The last leg of the race leading into the finish had some confusing directional signs. A fun way to practice a relay race with a group of friends.
