Great way to welcome back IRL racing for me. This was my first marathon in almost 2 years due to Covid. Philadelphia did a great job managing the race and putting in precautions to help keep everyone safe. All runners had to show proof of vaccination and were required to wear a mask while at the starting area and finish areas. All volunteers at water stations were wearing gloves and masks.

They race itself was way more hilly than advertised, I understand they had to make some changes to the course. Regardless of that, it still had some of the best in race scenery I’ve experienced. Lots of historic buildings throughout the route. This is a race to put on your “to-do” list. Thank you Philly
