I hate to rate this race so low because it was their inaugural year and I'm hoping they learned from the first year, however, that's the only year I ran it. The expo was little more than a table of bibs and a table of shirts with a few sponsor booths after the race itself. The race, while scenic, was not a course reasonable for a crowd of 5k runners. The course wound down a path that follows White River, curving gently through the woods. I have run this path several times during training and with friends so I'm no stranger to it, but this path is wide enough for 3, maybe 4, abreast and this out and back course for the race made it a VERY tight squeeze for the participants once the faster runners passed the halfway point and came back the same path against the flow of the slower runners.
Again, I hope they changed some things after their first year, but I can't recommend it based on my experience in their inaugural year.
