Christine 's thoughts:
I completed the NYRR Bronx 10 Miler in 2012. It's a nice, straight, and relatively flat course. I think it's great if you're looking for a good longer run for training. You're primarily running down what is normally a high traffic area, so you pass stores and houses primarily. The aid stations are at every mile and the volunteers are ready to hand you water/gatorade. When you pick up your bib you get a nice tee, and once you finish you get a really great looking medal.
